Inflation in the U.S.A.
The current rate of inflation in the U.S.A. fluctuates between 2% and 3% on an annualized basis.
It is among the lowest inflation rates in the entire world.
The Federal Reserve lives in ongoing terror that the inflation rate will increase to levels in the 5% to 7% rate.
Why? Because at those rates they (and all other Central Banks) lose control of the monetary and economic situation.
The story is almost identical in the Euro and in Japan.
The LDC'S are a very different story (exclude China).
The United States, Japan and the
Euro, to say nothing of the rest of the world, is living off the slave labor
of the LDC's.
We have, in essence, traded jobs in manufacturing for less inflation.
We have an incredible labor shortage totally, completely hidden, misunderstood and misinterpreted by lousy government.
I have been talking about if for years now and have impressed nobody, absolutely nobody.
No government official has identified the problem in any detail for the past 5 years!
Government has been asleep at the switch (one more time; Pearl Harbor to the left)
One eternal truth about Government: they are basically incompetent and practice the policy of generating fear.
The inflation threat is much exaggerated, overblown, inflated and embellished.
It is the transference of blame for their total failure to recognize the labor shortage eons ago!
Am I worried about the inflation threat? Not really.
